Father/Daughter Racing | Print |

After seeing the DVD "Higher and Faster" (skiff sailing), my 5 year old daughter decided that she was ready to learn to race the Viper.  So this weekend, with temps in the mid 60s and wind around 10 mph, we hit the water to give it a try.  Click below to see the photos.

She quickly became an expert at handling the jib during tacks, and figuring out how to hold on tight when the puffs hit.  Unfortunately, we didn't have appropriate footwear for her, so we had to return to the dock due to literal cold feet.
